The brief was to design a plastic injection moulded electric toothbrush for a cereal brand of my choice. The design had to be visually interesting and encourage a user to interact with the product in the correct manner, meaning that it had to be semantically and ergonomically correct through the holding position, scale, and grip design. The design was required to incorporate the use of a standardised electric toothbrush head and have space for an electric motor, battery, switch, and wiring.

The three hand drawn concept sketches shown above are the plans showing how my toothbrush advertisement will look like. Between the three sketches I will choose only one concept that I think is mostly suitable for the brand.
Concept 1: The toothbrush in coming out of the bowl of Rice Krispies causing the milk splash. The splash shows that the toothbrush is moving upward away from the bowl. The design that is at the bottom of the toothbrush mimics the milk splash.
Concept 2: In this concept the toothbrush is placed on the left side of the page on the ground between Snap and Pop (cartoon mascots of Rice Krispies), and they are both presenting the toothbrush to the audience. Crackle is far behind Snap and Pop, and he is holding a spoon with the bowl of Rice krispies in front of him.
Concept 3: The toothbrush is placed at the centre of the page, being the focal point of the poster while the three different flavoured Rice Krispies are blurred behind the toothbrush.
